a fresh start

My name is Allie Woerner and The Vestis is a concept that I've been working on for quite a while at this point. One of my New Year's resolutions, as a brand-spanking new college grad, was to move from my current blog, Sparkles and Stilettos. It's funny, how you can grow out of an idea and feel yourself moving in a completely different direction. I've learned a lot a S&S, but I just feel so much older now; eons past the fashion blog that I started when I was 19, a sophomore in college and a beauty queen. 

I'm none of those things anymore.

Vestis is a latin word. It (primarily) means clothing. 

I liked the idea of the old being incorporated into the new, both of them meshing together to become something so much more. I hope to grow with this blog, and I feel as though it has the ability to grow with me as well. 

So here it is. My fresh start. A new beginning.
