Overalls. They're a beautiful invention. A grab-and-go scenario of s(h)rots.

After searching far and wide in all of my go-to thrift stores, I finally caved and picked up these bad boys from UO. 

The entire time I wore them, I had to fight the urge to skip and do other childish things. 

At least I don't wear them like this anymore:

I bought this pleather skirt on a whim and now I'm 95% sure it's one of my favorite pieces in my closet. Super versatile and it adds a little something-something to every outfit. Gotta love (and hoard) pieces like that. MORE PLEATHER, I SAY! 

On a personal note, tomorrow is my 23rd birthday! Eek! I feel like I was just turning 17 and now I'm already the big 2-3. To celebrate, I'm going to be in denial of the numbers and a bunch of friends and I are headed to Disneyland. Take that, age.

 There's something endlessly sexy about a leather biker jacket. 

I love how slipping it on can do SO much for an outfit. Add a pair of fuchsia heels and you've got yourself an outfit that makes you feel effortlessly cool.

In other news, my sister came home for the weekend and it was so nice being able to hang out with her! We did a whole plethora of girly things: the mall (x2), the nail salon, rom-coms from way back in 2004...it's always nice to have another girl in the house.

These pictures were taken in the courtyard of the apartment that I rented this summer. Stuck smack dab in the middle of West Hollywood, it was a SUPER close to work and provided me (and Trevor) with some great twilight adventures. I'm missing it more than I ever thought I would.
