Spent the day in Santa Barbara with my Boo and it was wonderful. It was one of those days where the weather was great, the company was ideal and everything went the way we wanted it to. I wish we could have more days like this.

My obsession with bright colors and floral prints (more often than not, combined) has reached new heights. I just want to smother myself in neon flowers and call it a day. It's me trying to distance myself as far away from the muted colors of winter as possible. 

The jacket was a lucky find at a thrift store. Brand new with tags still attached (the best kind of find, in my opinion). I loved it so much that when I found another one in a different color, I bought that one too. A "GOTTA HAVE" for sure.

This morning I woke up and I really just wanted to wear what I felt like wearing, especially since I was doing a ridiculously short shift at work. So, instead of wearing what I normally wear to work, I wore the brightest print and the biggest shoes I own. Sometimes it's good to be a little rebellious, right?

In other news, this shirt is new. And I love it. Especially since it was dirt cheap at Forever 21.

I once hated booties. I never wanted to wear them. I had this preconceived notion that they would make me look even shorter than I am (5'3). Everything changed when I found these bad boys displayed in the window of one of my favorite thrift shops. I was curious. I asked, they handed, I tried...and then it was love. To date, they're my most comfortable pair and I will probably wear them till I die.

Similarly, I hated the idea of booties and a dress. Then, this morning, I woke up and decided to try it. And like my trusted Harrows, I'm glad I did.

Pretty much one of the only good outfit shots I got during my time in London. No worries though, the week consisted of variations of this outfit, so this is a good example of what was worn. 

It took me a few days to get used to the weather (seeing as it's been 85 degrees in SoCal the past few days, it's easy to see why), but once I did, I found that the cool air was more refreshing than bothersome. There were some "I'msocoldit'suncomfortable" moments, but they were few and far between.

That being said, I'm fully ready for spring to pop up and for the emergence of bright and cheerful clothing. No more coats, please!
