here we go

Tee: Marciano; Skirt: White House / Black Market Outlet; Shoes: Shoedazzle; Bag: Coach; Sunnies: Ray Ban

So much is happening in such a short amount of time and needless to say, I'm freaking out a little bit. It's a good kind of freak out, though. The kind that happens when so much GOOD is on its way but you aren't quite sure how to handle it cause it's all so new and unknown. I'm scared, but even more so than that, I'm so excited and ready for it all to happen!

In other news, California is officially in summer mode and it's glorious. LA was a wondrous 86 degrees today, which made wandering around and sitting down to eat (and drink some ridiculously good lemonade) outside at the Urth Cafe a wonderful and very welcomed experience.

landslide

Target jacket; F21 highwaisted jeans; Marciano tank; Jeffrey Campbell Litas

Headed to the Fleetwood Mac concert at the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday night with Trevor and his parents. I didn't quite know what to expect with this concert. We won the tickets back in December when our moms went to Ellen's 12 Days of Giveaways. That being said, I loved every second of it. And "Landslide" had me crying the entire time. The whole audience singing along to words that I've been listening to since I was 9 years old, all under the stars; it was way more emotional than I ever thought it would be

gimme shelter

Marciano blazer; Levi Cutoffs; Stones Tee; Coach Bag; Ray Ban Clubmasters; Jeffrey Campbell Platforms

We were lucky enough to score some tickets for The Rolling Stones tour in LA on Monday night. Needless to say, I was ridiculously excited to be in the same room as Mick Jagger again. That man is the original rock star; no one else compares. Well, except for maybe Keith Richards.

don't be tardy for the party

Trevor and I graduated from college on the same day at pretty much the same time, just an hour and a half away from each other. Since we didn't get to be together when we walked, we decided to have a joint grad party at a local pool the next day (complete with all you can eat tacos and endless margaritas).

My brilliant friend Justine created her own photo booth for the party, which proved to be an EPIC success ::

I wish I could post all of them, but seeing as there were over 1000, that would be impossible.

I highly recommend making one of these bad boys for a party or event, as it doesn't cost a lot to do and it provides HOURS of entertainment.

What you need:

-Chalkboard
-Chalk
-Foil banners (in whatever colors you choose...Red and silver/gray were each of our school colors)
-Props
-A camera/handheld remote
-Thumbtacks
-Velcro stickies

Justine designed the print on paper and then freehanded it onto the board the day of the event. Just put it up with some velcro stickies and you're good to go!
We layered the foil so there was a pattern, and so the wall was mostly covered.
Finally, we poured all the props on the floor, explained to people how to use the remote and then let 'em loose. Huge success!

Dress: Marciano; Shoes: Aldo; Sunnies: Ray Ban; CAP AND GOWN!

I've decided that a cap and gown is an outfit that I'm particularly fond of.

mother's day

shirt and bag: marciano; skirt: gap; shoes: zara

Spent the day with my mama and family. Enjoyed a homemade brunch, then Gatsby (in 3D!), then dinner at a local restaurant to celebrate the holiday and my boyfriend's dad's birthday. Overall, a really good day.

shopping soiree

Flannel: Anthro via Goodwill; Tee, Purse and Jeans: Marciano; Shoes: Cole Haan; Sunnies: Ray Ban "Clubmasters"

Dragged my sister to the outlets where I finally caved and purchased the Ray Ban sunglasses that I have visited no less than twenty times in the past two months. It helped that the guy there gave me $20 off for no reason other than the fact that he could tell that "I really wanted them". I guess a look of extreme desperation pays off sometimes?

I also brought these bad boys home with me...cause they were pretty and on occasion, that's reason enough :
